The Story Behind the Promise
William Vasquez
Founding Partner • U.S. Air Force Veteran (2000–2007)
Before he was an attorney, William Vasquez served his country. From 2000 to 2007, he served in the United States Air Force as a Spanish Linguist for the Defense Intelligence Agency, including deployment during Operation Enduring Freedom. He saw firsthand how people in vulnerable situations need someone willing to stand up and fight on their behalf.
After his honorable discharge, William pursued law with a clear purpose: to use the discipline, courage, and dedication forged in military service to defend those who cannot defend themselves. In 2011, he founded Vasquez Law Firm in Charlotte, North Carolina, with a mission rooted in a simple Spanish phrase that carries enormous weight.

William saw immigrant families separated by a legal system they could not navigate alone. He saw injured workers afraid to seek help because of their documentation status. He saw people accused of crimes who could not afford to defend themselves, and families torn apart by legal battles they never asked for. He built this firm so that every one of those people would have someone in their corner — someone who speaks their language, understands their culture, and will fight relentlessly for their rights.
