Roselyn Torrellas

Roselyn Torrellas was born in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, and immigrated to the United States as a teenager with her family. She lived one year in Miami, Florida before relocating to Greensboro, North Carolina. When Roselyn graduated from high school, her family was still obtaining legal status, preventing her from immediately attending university. This personal experience inspired her to pursue immigration law and allows her to deeply empathize with clients navigating the complex U.S. immigration system. After earning her Political Science degree from UNC Greensboro, she worked full-time for an immigration attorney while attending evening law school at NCCU Durham, earning her J.D. in 2009. Roselyn has helped thousands of people while working in Miami FL, Denver CO, Winston-Salem, Raleigh, and Smithfield NC. She offers counsel in citizenship, adjustment of status, family petitions, DACA, asylum, and more. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, swimming, reading, and traveling internationally with her daughter.
